Orchestra Fund

The Civic Chorale regularly programs longer choral works (with a focus on living and under represented composers) and these works often require the services of a chamber orchestra. Recent examples include Dan Forrest's Requiem for the Living, Sarah Quartel's Snow Angel, and in December of 2024 we will be performing Elaine Hagenberg's Illuminare.

Additionally, many concert programs may feature selections with instrumentalists that add to the musical experience. Recent examples include a jazz combo to accompany several holiday pop songs in December 2023 and a fiddle player to accompany Orange Blossom Special in April of 2024.

Your tax-deductible contribution to the Civic Chorale's Orchestra Fund enables us to hire the highest quality musicians when producing our concerts.

Sustaining Excellence Fund

Your one time gift or recurring monthly gift to the Sustaining Excellence fund helps the Civic Chorale sustain the level and quality of programming that has been our hallmark for the last 39 years! By contributing to this general support fund for the Chorale, we can continue to produce a high quality concerts of choral music to audiences across the Big Bend area as well as a superior rehearsal environment that encourages the musical development of our singers. In honor of our jewel tone concert attire, choose your monthly giving level from Sapphire to Gold!

Music Memories Sponsor

The Tallahassee Civic Chorale maintains a 700+ title choral music library that our artistic director makes extensive use of when programing.  However, we continue to add to the library collection, and you can help the Chorale buy new music and honor a special event or person at the same time.  The Music Memories program allows you to dedicate the purchase of a piece in honor of, or in memory of a special event or person of your choosing.  The dedication will be listed in the Civic Chorale’s concert program whenever the chosen work is performed, in perpetuity. In addition, a certificate, suitable for framing commemorating your dedication will be mailed to you.

Advertise in the Civic Chorale's Concert Program

For the past 38 years, the Tallahassee Civic Chorale has been producing concert of high-quality choral music for audiences in the Big Bend.  Last season alone, we had over 1,000 people attend our concert offerings (both virtually and in person) including visitors from Kansas, Missouri, Michigan, Indiana, Georgia, North Carolina, and all across the state of Florida.
