Having the internationally renowned choral conductor/composer/arranger Dr. André Thomas as our guest is always a very special event. Dr. Thomas is Director of Choral Activities of the Florida State University College of Music, and conducts the Tallahassee Community Chorus.

• August 2002, Dr. Thomas conducted a pre-season workshop on using an understanding of the anatomy and physiology of breathing to improve singing ability.
  
  
• For our Spring 2003 Concert, Director Debi Chandler invited Dr. Thomas to conduct the Chorale in its performance of a few of his original pieces. The Chorale was privileged to have him with us, and to perform his works.
  
  
• In February 2010, Dr. Thomas returned to rehearse us on Handel's Coronation Anthem to be performed in the Spring Concert.
